As an international student studying at Brunel University London, I have found that my course has both positive and negative aspects. In terms of the best aspects, I would say that the course content is highly engaging and relevant to my career goals. I like how the curriculum is constantly updated to reflect the latest industry trends and developments.
One of the other great aspects of my course is the opportunities for work placements and internships. The university has strong ties with industry partners, which has enabled me to gain valuable practical experience while studying. These experiences have given me the opportunity to hone my skills and network with professionals in my field.
The lecturers and teaching quality in my course are outstanding. The professors are highly knowledgeable and have a real passion for their subject. They are also very approachable and eager to assist students with any questions or concerns. I like how different the teaching methods are, such as interactive seminars, group discussions, and practical workshops.
In terms of career prospects, I am confident that my course will prepare me well. The university provides a variety of career services, such as mock interviews, CV workshops, and industry talks, all of which have been extremely beneficial in guiding my job search. Furthermore, the course has assisted me in developing both technical and soft skills that are in high demand by employers.
On the other hand, the aspect of my course where I think could improve is the limited tutor contact time. I understand, however, that the lecturers and professors here have a hectic schedule, so scheduling meetings with them would be difficult. The professors compensates this by doing meetings online, so it is not totally bad thing.
Overall, I have had a positive experience studying at Brunel University London, and while there are some areas for improvement, the quality of the course content, work placements, lecturers, and career prospects have made it a valuable learning experience.

One of the things I like most about Chepstow Hall is its location. It is just 10 mins away from the lecture hall, so it makes it very convenient for attending classes and accessing university facilities. It is also located close to bus stops, which makes it easy to travel around London. Brunel is also close to shopping centers like the Uxbridge civic center, so grocery shopping is definitely not a hassle.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
I have had the opportunity to live in Chepstow Hall, one of the university's halls of residence. As an international student living alone in a foreign country, safety is my top priority. The university halls has a 24-hour security presence, which has made me feel safe and secure throughout my stay. The hall also has security measures such as key card access to the building, to your floor, and to your individual room so the chance of someone breaking in is very small.

Room allocation has been a positive experience for me as well. The university provides a range of room options to suit different preferences and budgets. I was happy with my room allocation, which provided me with a comfortable and spacious living space.
The property management team at Chepstow Hall is generally responsive and helpful. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue, the team has been quick to resolve it. I also like that they do the cleaning for the communal area often, that is why it is usually clean.
The internet/wifi connection is also pretty reliable, although there are some experience that it can be slow, but so far I have never experienced getting cut off from my online lectures.
Finally, I like how the University supports the students living in University Halls with different kinds of perks like free laundry and food vouchers.
The thing I like the least in the University Halls are the fire alarms, which is frequently setting off. But I understand that it is just a precaution to ensure the safety of the students, so it doesn't bother me too much.
In terms of value for money, Chepstow Hall is relatively affordable compared to other accommodation options in London, considering that the overall payment already includes utilities. Overall, my experience at Chepstow Hall has been positive. While there are some areas for improvement, such as the fire alarms, the hall's location, safety, room allocation, internet connection/wifi, value for money, and overall property management have made it a comfortable and enjoyable place to live during my time at Brunel University London.
