Campus is absolutely gorgeous in the summer months, lots of great places for food and drink. The lake side bar during summer is definitely the best. While bus transport around Guildford isn’t exactly great, everything you need is definitely in walking distance of campus.

The department and course is small so you really get to know all of your academics and course mates really well. First year is great especially as you’re only with the people on your course so lectures are a lot more interactive and you can easily get the help you need

I went for band D, while you aren’t guaranteed to get where you want most people do. However within each band prices do vary and you don’t get to pick which end of the band you want so be careful. The newer/updated accom is definitely the nicest (Daphne Jackson) but they’re all still pretty good. You definitely get more space in band D especially for kitchens. I had friends in the band below with tiny kitchens and a lot more people in their flat so that’s definitely something to consider
