Portsmouth has great links to London, Brighton and Cardiff making it easy to travel home or visit friends. I love how its by the beach and means you can walk there if the city life is a bit overwhelming. Its very walkable and the university has a great community so you don't end up feeling like just a number. The sport clubs and facilities are amazing and such a good price. Lectures and halls are all close to each other so nothing is more than a 10 min walk away. The lecturers are really helpful and the modules allow you to make you degree centered around what you want to do/specialise in. However, some teachers offer more support than others, so sometimes you really have to nag them for stuff.

I love the module options; some lecturers are great, whereas others lack the ability to teach effectively.

Lovely rooms and views, especially when facing the spinnaker tower. However if you live in b block, you have 1 lift and if it doesn't work and you live on the top floors, you have to trek ages up the stairs. Its a very isolating part of the building as theres 2 flats on each floor and i think should be the "quiet" halls. This often left my mental health suffering at times from the isolation.

Most university buildings are close to each other and they are close into town etc. There are many different societies and socials

The course is mainly in person with a few in online lectures. There is quite a lot of contact hours compared to other degrees

I liked that the location was very close to uni but also the city centre and to a range of different supermarkets. However it was very loud at times and the doors and lifts were sometimes broken
