The administrative units at the university can sometimes be slow in responding, especially since some departments don’t even have physical offices for walk-in inquiries. This often leaves you waiting anxiously for email replies.

Most of the professors deliver good teaching, but a few have teaching methods that don’t suit me as well. Unfortunately, even after providing feedback, there hasn’t been any improvement. The course structure is diverse, covering a wide range of fields. However, it is largely focused on theory rather than practical application or the development of specific skills.

I find the facilities and overall accommodation quality to be good.

It is a gorgeous campus in the west end of Glasgow, which is also an amazing city to live in, it is well connected to other areas of the city and it just feels like the uni is always trying to modernise. For me, the material taught in my programmed has also been really challenging compared to my past experience at my previous uni (University of Aberdeen)

I think the course has done a good job at giving us some technological skills that i lacked previously but the fundamentals of programming course has been the most negative experience i have ever had with a uni course, too fast, too intense and barely any room or time to digest what you are learning (which is a lot).
