Tell us about your overall university experience so far.
The best aspect of my university experience was undeniably the vibrant and diverse community that fostered a sense of belonging and provided numerous opportunities for personal and academic growth. The campus buzzed with energy, enriched by students from various cultural, academic, and social backgrounds. This diversity not only broadened my perspectives but also facilitated meaningful connections and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Furthermore, the university offered an array of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations catering to diverse interests, from sports and arts to entrepreneurship and social activism. Engaging in these activities outside of the classroom not only complemented my academic pursuits but also allowed me to develop valuable leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
However, despite these enriching experiences, one of the worst aspects of my university experience was the inadequacy of mental health support services. Many students, myself included, struggled with stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues, yet the university's counseling services were often overwhelmed and under-resourced. Long wait times for appointments and limited availability of therapists made it challenging for students to access the support they desperately needed.
To improve the university experience, investing more resources in mental health services is crucial. This could involve hiring additional counselors, expanding outreach and awareness campaigns, and implementing proactive measures to promote student well-being. By prioritizing mental health support, the university can ensure that all students have the resources and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The best aspect of my management course was the practical applicability of the concepts taught, which bridged the gap between theory and real-world scenarios. The coursework often included case studies, simulations, and interactive projects that allowed us to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills applicable to various industries.
On the other hand, one of the worst aspects was the lack of flexibility in course hours and scheduling. Many mandatory classes were scheduled during peak hours, making it challenging for students with part-time jobs or other commitments to attend. Additionally, limited contact with lecturers outside of class hours made it difficult to seek clarification or additional support when needed.
Improving the course could involve offering more flexible scheduling options, such as evening or weekend classes, to accommodate students with diverse schedules. Additionally, increasing opportunities for one-on-one interactions with lecturers through office hours or online platforms could enhance student learning and support.

University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
What I liked most about the university's halls were the sense of community and convenience they offered. Living in the halls provided an excellent opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and build lifelong connections. The social atmosphere fostered a supportive environment where students could study together, participate in various activities, and create lasting memories.
Additionally, the halls often provided convenient amenities such as laundry facilities, common areas for socializing, and on-site staff to address any concerns or issues promptly. The proximity to campus also made it easy to attend classes, access university resources, and participate in extracurricular activities without worrying about long commutes.
However, what I liked least about the university's halls were the sometimes limited privacy and noise levels. Living in close quarters with other students meant that noise from neighboring rooms or common areas could sometimes be disruptive, especially during exam periods or late at night. Additionally, the lack of personal space in shared accommodations could occasionally lead to conflicts or discomfort.
Overall, while the university's halls offered valuable social experiences and convenience, improvements in noise management and privacy could enhance the overall living experience for students.
