As a mature student returning to education, Worcester University has helped build my academic confidence from the start. The course is interesting and challenging, covering a wide genre of literary forms. Teaching style is supportive and nurturing, in smaller class sizes, meaning that there is more one to one time, meaning the lecturers get to know your name and everyone is really friendly. The facilities are great - the gym is state of the art, the only thing missing would be a class timetable, the student union seems friendly (although I confess I haven't ventured in apart from in freshers week), and the cafes are accessible. The Hive library is close to the university and we have been introduced to our subject librarian and given information about how to access secondary material etc, and his contact details should we have specific questions when compiling essays at any point over the three years. Communication from the University and also from the lecturers is good and there's nothing I can really fault the University on.

Small groups means more one to one time. Tutors get to know you, and you get to know your cohort. My course is interesting and challenging too. The course tutors help you every step of the way and I feel that they encourage you to reach out of you need help.

No
