I like that Derby is a good base to travel to other parts of the UK. The campus is really modern. Library is great to find books, get your head down or meet with study groups.

I am taught in class and I can meet with lecturers to discuss my work one on one.

I like the spacious rooms, location close to uni and the safety.

The facilities are new and work well, but the library roof is constantly leaking, meaning that buckets cover the floor of the library. The lecturers are dedicated and the free uni buses are an amazing feature of the university, meaning that I can get into uni easily.

The lecturers are dedicated and the content differs from courses in other universities. The marketing element is also beneficial. It is not the fault of the university, but the class size on my course is very small, so maybe there could be increased marketing for the English course to bring in more people. Each lecture is four hours which can feel long but the time is spent wisely, making sure you can learn as much as possible.

The Wi-Fi is atrocious, it constantly cuts out which makes teams calls with my lecturers very difficult. As there are no gates, anyone can walk onto site which can make it a bit dangerous. I was followed last year by someone on site and the security did deal with it efficiently and appropriately so that it a pro of PAC. It is the cheapest accommodation available, but the room is fairly sized and the en suite is good.
