The safe, homely community feel the Uni provides. As the uni is so small it really helps to make you feel at home as everyone knows each other, therefore automatically it helps to make you feel that there is support. It could be improved by having more staff in specific departments such as English, as this would enable more course/ module options to be chosen. As at the moment we were not able to get many choices, and lots of the options were not completely English literature modules, often more weighted in other subject fields such as history or psychology which in our final year, are new and difficult concepts to grasp which is often frustrating as it is not what I wanted and choose to study for my degree.

Best: lecturers are passionate about their module and in turn create interesting and insightful lectures which we enjoy. Worst: not enough module choice and choices include aspects of other subjects which we did not choose to study for our degree.

I loved Stockbridge! Was very lucky to have been allocated flat mates who I still live with!
