I received a lot of help when I first came to this uni in terms of getting adjusted to my course and course tutors, meeting everyone through an introductory lunch etc. I live on campus and everything is really convenient and handy, luckily I have a really good flat and the course is going really well. Been open to meet new people is vital and university teaches you great people skills as you are on your own here and it is up to you to socialise and get involved.

Royal Holloway has provided me with an enjoyable first term of university. The course has proved be largely engaging, with lectures and seminars being mostly well organised. The accommodation of Kingswood has been disappointing with the food provided being substandard as well as some other annoyances. The limited options in terms of nightlife can also be an issue, frustrating when I want to enjoy myself after a stressful essay submission. Nonetheless, university is what you make it and I have had an enjoyable time so far.
