The university itself has been incredibly hospitable and inviting for students, and, more so, for myself. The lecturers have constantly been willing to answer questions and discuss lecture content within their offices. The different styles of teaching has also encouraged a more wider interest within the topic that I am studying. Beyond lecturers, the student experiences have also been incredible, whether it be the multitude of free events occurring on campus, or within your individual colleges, there are also a range of paid events that interest different people. It has helped me meet many people who I likely wouldn't have met without the encouragement of the university.

The course is entirely in-class, with a blend of seminars and lectures to encourage students to voice their own opinions while also learning from renowned experts. Although I would complain that the contact hours are low, this is more to do with taking a humanities degree rather than a a specific Lancaster problem. Overall, however, the time that we are provided for self-studies have been incredibly helpful either to do the assignments or to prepare for the next lecture, and the time that we do have lectures broaden our understanding of the topics at hand

The accommodation that I have is an intermediately priced one, it has 3 bathrooms for 9 students, all of which are undergraduate, and it is just above the college bar, 'Trevor', meaning it is incredibly central, also being by the library and the main university square. The dining and kitchen area is very big, with couches and a coffee table, alongside 2 dining tables. For its price, I am incredibly happy with it.
