Lots of study spaces, would love more support and opportunities

Upon joining university the first things which stuck out to me was how modern the building is and how social every one you meet is. The building and classrooms are spectacular, there are so many locations to sit and chat with people, so many quiet places to study independently and the library is phenomenal. The people you meet on your course and even on other courses are so friendly and welcoming it really makes the university experience so much better. If I were to change something I’d definitely change timetables. Sometimes having a 4 hour gap in between the lecture and seminar can be quite tiring leading so many people to leave and go home. This not only negatively impacts attendance but also they are missing out of important information discussed within the lecture.

I study English Literature so I was expecting to read a lot and have a lot of content to study. But all the information is provided in a way on moodle which is extremely accessible and very easy to manage. There definitely is a large work load but the tutors help break it down and teach it in sections ensuring no content is missed.

The people who you meet, the communication between staff and students, and the opportunities which we have after receiving a degree.
