University is amazing the facilities have been really impressive . Yet it can also be very isolating making friends isn’t as easy I had hoped and it’s a big shock change from the school system . I wish there was an easier transition to university possible doing more in school events and open days would close the gape and even convince further pupils to pursue further education .

The lecturers can be very distant , once again which is very different from school you can feel lost and overwhelmed as the pace is very quick and unfortunately you can fall through the cracks easily .

The university halls were in average condition , however it wasn’t ever a very homely environment. You felt very caged in and the campus security were never really around to help . The parties were good but as it was covid , sickness spread and supper lacked .

Strathclyde is a good uni, it has a lot to offer, if u're willing to work hard. I am only a freshman and so I can't say much of an overall experience, especially that the first year classes are very basic and general in the social sciences department. I have to say though that there is a lot of clubs, societies and possibilities to engage in the uni experience!
