University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Orlando is a mixed bag. Their maintenance of the halls are awful. There are constant issues with things like the Boiler, radiators, badly built draws and terrible ventilation. They lock your windows without consent to save money on their bills causing kitchens to get to 30•C when everyone is cooking. They have mold growing in the bathrooms and silverfish coming out of the toilets. The price for laundry is ridiculous. 1 wash and dry is £10 and you can only fill 3/4 of the machine for a good wash. You have to pay for games like pool and the rent increases are distrusting. It is not worth staying here.
On the other hand, the events they hold are good and the common room is lively and their new cinema room is good.
