King's College is right in the heart of London, which makes it easy to always find something to do. You'll find a diverse community here and always someone to talk to. However, coming from an American university, you lose the traditional, close-knit community feel of a college town. My accommodation is about 30 minutes from my campus building, so it can be a hassle to coordinate walking to class or tubing every day. I think the most frustrating thing I found with King's was their class selection process. I'm not sure if this was just an exchange student problem, but I literally had to fill out a google form and was unsure going in whether or not these classes would clash with each other. It wasn't until much later I found out about class times and clashes, and when I had them I had to fill out an additional form, looking up the timetables and writing down all the lecture times to make sure they didn't clash. Why they put this all on the student's end is baffling to me and was certainly a stressful experience.

Aside from missed lectures and seminars due to strikes, all of my classes are in person which makes the learning process much more immersive. Of course if a lecture is missed some provide a lecture capture, which can be extremely helpful to go back and review material. All of my lectures are dedicated to teaching and provide easy contact points for you to reach out to them after class for additional help. I feel like I'm having a rich learning experience and reading books and essays I would have never thought of picking up on my own accord.

Moonraker point is a great location to be for easy access to all things in London—It's only a short walk to Southwark station! It's close in walking distance to Guy's campus and about a 30-minute walk to Strand, which is sometimes a hassle to coordinate if you don't want to consistently pay for the tube every day. The area feels residential and calm compared to more central areas. The only negative is that there is some construction company nearby, and the workers can linger around the door to my flat block. But as for noise most of it is blocked out, which is especially good as I live on a lower floor. The staff at Moonraker is very kind and supportive, and they have helped fix most of my issues in my flat even though some took ages for them to respond. Sadly I've had a load of issues with my flat. My bathroom light went out for a month before someone was actually able to fix it, I've had mold on the walls, a leaking toilet, a broken radiator, both the fridges stopped working, the power went out once, and my bathroom door wouldn't shut and seemed to fix itself over the course of a few months even though I reported it several times. We also had a mouse problem that took months for them to respond to, and only took action when we went down to reception and pressured them to do something. All being said, for this being the most expensive King's accommodation, there should be better management and better quality.

I definitely enjoy studying at King's College London. One of the best aspects for me is definitely the location, Strand Campus located right at the heart of London. Moreover, the campus is very safe, and with enough facilities. I enjoy the classes and teachers, and mainly the Maughan Library. One of the less appealing aspects of King's College London would be for me the small amount of contact hours, I would enjoy having more hours a week.

I am in love with English so it is definitely a course I enjoy, however it is sometimes a bit too classic and I would like to maybe have a wider range of options.

i absolutely love studying in London, however it is quite expensive, especially rent. I feel very safe and never get tired, there are always things to do. From museums to restaurants, to shopping or clubbing. Moreover, being an English major in London is definitely amazing, surrounded by lliterature and libraries or many bookshops.

SSA is the perfect location, only 5 min away from London eye. However, the rooms were a bit small and dated.
