Close to university and library

Aston is a small campus so it can feel very homely. The teachers are very good for the most part and there is a variety of learning methods. Being right in the city centre means you're at the heart of everything. The main building can feel a little dated but the university has a lot of history. The university is excellent at supporting students when they need it.

The blended learning is good but sometimes the teachers expect a great deal from you and give you tons of work to do before the lessons, and sometimes don't give the work to you until less than 24 hours before the lessons which makes it really difficult to actually get it done on time. Other teachers don't give you much to do before the lessons at all. A bit more conformity would be better because it's either way too much and you just don't have the time to do it all, or there's not much given. I think they have struggled to get the balance right from Covid with everything being online to now. However, most of the teachers are very good and provide some interesting things to do.
