Loving it here, welcoming environment, fantastic campus, friendly staff and great nightlife. Good faculties, free fast wifi anywhere on campus, great clubs and societies.

The best aspect of the university life is the diverse people you meet here and are exposed to so many different perspectives people have on life. It's a beautiful campus with a lot of study spaces to focus and to take a break as well. But as an international student I found it very hard to adjust to university life in my first year with a lot of conflicting emotions. I think the university should try and reach out to students who might not seem to be doing so well. The one emotion that I felt was loneliness and sometimes it can be hard to reach out about such things. I also believe that the university could be improved by making their support services more accessible. The university could also add more transport services for students since the hopper buses as they are now are not sufficient for the transmit of hundreds of students travelling everyday, especially at the early hours of the day.

The best aspect about my course is the fact that we have a very engaging environment in our course and also very challenging content which makes it worth it and definitely prepares us for the industry but I do feel that, our course can cause unnecessary stress to students that just leads to unhealthy sleeping and eating patterns between the students. We are not given enough time to learn the content and finish coursework for 5 modules at the same time. Our course has about 15-19 contact hours in a week with online progress tests every week and offline lectures that last about 2 hours each. We are expected to stay in university from 9-5 most days due to the workload but it can get very hard to maintain this work life balance.
