Bad: netball club culture and attitudes of new students. Support is poor from the university counselling service - went through very bad mental health and they were very poor in their attitude for it, was made to feel like it was my fault. Never done in person exams at uni due to covid and made to do them in my final and most important year. Lecturers can be very poor in their support both in and out of lectures Good: some lecturers were good (Carol Eastwick, Mark Jabbal), campus is very green and spacious, feel safe on campus, sporting facilities at David Ross are good (poorer at Jubilee), location of campus is good. 7 times out of 10 the staff listened to feedback such as in regards to coursework.

The module options are poor in fourth year, having to take ones I done really think I’ll enjoy. Good basis provided in first and second year. Not enough hands on stuff, such as flight sims, lab work, workshop activities. Lecturers are very very hit and miss and greatly affect the output of work students can produce. Support is there if needed but can be difficult to get the right level of.

Location was good for campus but poor for getting to the city centre in comparison to others. My block facilities were good, cleaned often, good standard. Maintenance were great, sorted things very quickly. Felt very safe, but on the more expensive side especially as self catered.

Great lecturers, involved in leading research so knowledge shared is upto date, great support from the Careers team in job search and support, wide vareity of clubs and societies to cater to every interest and large number of cultural events organised to promote interaction and learning.
