Brunel University has a strong reputation for its focus on practical, industry-relevant education and research strength in areas such as engineering, technology and the social sciences. The campus has modern facilities and a diverse student population, allowing students to experience cultures from all over the world. As with any university, there is always room for improvement. Some potential areas for improvement at Brunel could include increased mental health and resource support, greater diversity and inclusion in the curriculum and campus culture, and more international and experiential learning opportunities.

Doctoral students typically have less course structure and may have more time for independent research and reading than undergraduate students. However, I still have some scheduled contact with the tutor, such as one-on-one meetings or group workshops. The number of times of contact with the supervisor may vary according to the learning status and results at different times, but we generally hope that we, as doctoral students, will be more autonomous in our studies.

Brunel University is located in the town of Uxbridge, which is situated in the western part of Greater London. There are several things that make Uxbridge a great place for students: Access to London: Uxbridge is located on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly tube lines, which provide easy access to central London. This makes it convenient for students to explore the city's many cultural and entertainment offerings. Affordable living: Compared to more central parts of London, the cost of living in Uxbridge is relatively affordable. This makes it a great choice for students who want to live in close proximity to the city without breaking the bank. Shopping and dining: Uxbridge has a large shopping center, The Mall, which offers a variety of retail and dining options. There are also plenty of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants in the town center. Green spaces: Uxbridge has several parks and green spaces, including the historic Hillingdon Trail and Colne Valley Regional Park, which is the largest area of natural green space in the London area. Student community: Uxbridge has a vibrant student community, with several universities and colleges in the area. This provides plenty of opportunities for socializing and making new friends. Overall, Uxbridge offers a great balance of urban and suburban living, with easy access to London and plenty of local amenities.

This disability support team is very good. The facilities are great and there is lots on offer. However, sometimes there is a major lack of organisation. Marking takes forever to be returned (usually longer than the 4 weeks they say the maximum should be) and is usually lacklustre, amounting to either a few words of comments like "good work" written in a non-descript place which is unhelpful.

Most of the content was interesting. Some of the lectures are amazing and others leave more to be desired. It is very hit or miss in that regard.
