My experience at the University of Portsmouth has been amazing. The university offers a very supportive academic environment, with lecturers who are not only knowledgeable but genuinely committed to helping students succeed. I’ve always felt comfortable approaching staff for guidance, and they always take the time to explain things clearly and make sure you are on the right track. The facilities are also excellent, especially the library, which has great study spaces and plenty of resources. Another thing I really value is the diversity of the university community. You meet people from so many different backgrounds, and it creates a friendly and open atmosphere that makes settling in much easier, especially for international students. If I had to point out an area for improvement, I would say that some administrative processes could be a bit faster and clearer, especially during busy periods. However, whenever issues do arise, staff are usually quick to help resolve them. Overall, Portsmouth has been a great place to study, offering quality teaching, a supportive environment, and a strong sense of community. I definitely recommend it to anyone considering studying here.

My course has been a really positive experience overall. The teaching style is clear, organised, and very student-focused. Communication is another strong point. Lecturers regularly update us, respond to emails quickly, and are generally very accessible, which makes a huge difference. In terms of improvement, sometimes the workload from different modules overlaps at the same time, which can be stressful, but it’s still manageable. It would also be great to have more hands-on sessions or workshops, as they really enhance understanding. Overall, the course is well-structured, engaging, and taught by people who genuinely care about our success. I feel I’ve grown academically and professionally thanks to the way the course is delivered.

I except much great things for this institute on the future because of the vision and the motivated environment. It could be improved by making more sociable activities.
