Great place to study. Knowledgable teachers (depending on the course); Had a very helpful supervisor for my final project. Facilities could do good with some upgrades (technical & optical wise like new painting on the walls etc.) but thats a +. Everything worked. Town Wrexham is small and everything is reachable by foot which is a huge plus as a student from abroad. Many big stores and some restaurants nearby. If you want to reach the places faster, investing in a small, cheap bike is recommended. They have a wide variety of cultural and religous institutions like churches and a big mosque. Renting a room within uni campus is expensive when you compare it to the private rooms/ houses nearby. I did rent a house together with my friends from Germany, whom I studied with together in Wrexham (With me five persons). Getting to Wrexham was rather quick and cheap. I took a flight to Manchester Airport and then the bus to Wrexham. If you buy the tickets as early as possible, you will get good prices (e.g. with easyjet/bus).

The courses where tought in-class and the teachers I had were very knowledgable. We had many theoretical lessons (maths, electrical machines calculation etc) but also some practical learning sessions like creating test cases for hardware devices and presentations in the language course (English) and in Project Management. We also had self study lessons with practical focused discussion with the teacher in Predictive Maintenance and Compliance. Overall I learned very much and its benefitial for the job later!

I would appreciate more international "meetings" and catch up's at the beggining of the course, to meet new people and make the entry more comfortable. Also to promote more sports and make sessions during class time to promote it.

It is understandable to do 2h of lectures / week / lecture. In my origin country I do 6-7hours / day, x 5 days / week. In Wrexham I do 2h x 2 days and 2h extra one day. In total 6h / week of full bachelor. The quality of the teaching is very poor, teachers seem to be tired and finish the class early (up to 1h before). I would appreciate more lectures on site and more exercises to practice.
