The university and specifically the school of informatics and engineering provide outstanding facilities for students. The provided labs and equipment are state of the art with amazing learning opportunities at the tips of our fingers. Facilities such as the library and computer rooms are well equipped and available 24/7 for students. I find myself working on assignments comfortably after classes in the university. Especially during tough weeks where going home would be a waste of time. Facilities such as the careers hub on campus were very helpful when it came to planning out my future endeavours in the field of electronics engineering and helped show me the different paths I could take If I had to be nit-picking about some things on campus. It would be the availability of group study rooms for students, we do have quite a few, but they do not cover the demand of the population of the campus during the weeks prior to finals or mid term assignment weeks.

As an electrical and electronics engineering student I find that the curriculum is very hands on and engaging. Moreover, the teaching staff is welcoming and helpful, having a discussion with my professors about my curriculum or path in the future doesn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. Truly feels like the staff is there to better my educational opportunities. For example we were complaining about how one of our classes was a bit late in the day 6-7 pm, and immediately after hearing our concerns the professor opted to have the class broadcast on zoom for students that are not able to attend in person.

The Uni is next to Brighton which is a great city to live in, that said transport to the uni can be a little awkward. The course itself is well equipped and structured to be as accessible to all students as its feasible. The availability of the campus facilities make on campus study as easy and comfortable as studying from home.

I find some of the presentations dry at times and much of each lecture ends up being repeated in the following. This does make it feel as though a non negligible amount of time is wasted. That said being able to use all of the materials available so easily for personal or study projects is an absolute godsend.
