The university is just a good place. I always wanted to go there before I even knew what a university was when I was 10 because I just associated it with friendships and life long memories, and sometimes I'm sat there when I'm with friends and I'm like this, this is what I wanted when I was 10. The lecturers offer great support (at least on my courses) and everybody who I've interacted with are just friendly and always smiling. Big contrast to school where you were afraid to look in people's direction on the corridors They also offer good work opportunities in the university itself and help you to get a job in places that the university has checked to make sure that they don't exploit students. It's an overall amazing place and I wouldn't change it for anything

Psychology can be demanding and sometimes confusing (but I'm just bad at mathe personally) but worth it. SEN on the other hand is just amazing. Not at all what I thought it would be but I love it and I'm so glad that I switched last minute to take it. It's really changed my perspective on disability and how I view myself and my own disabilities.

Don't feel like a fish out of water with coming from a working class background, I have learnt so much academically it has been very interesting excited to graduate.
