Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

Once in a lifetime. Took as many opportunities as I could. Each year has been different. Challenges faced have made me grow as a person but now I’m at the point ready to leave and move on.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

Very much so. Eg careers fair was held today, have a lively employability office, my business school is very proactive, links with locals and also big national and international organisations.

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

Small class! Don’t like small number of hours on the timetable.

Students' Union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

Fantastic. Constantly communicates what’s going on. Great present online. Like the videos online - great way to properly get to know our representatives (hear them speak and see how they hold themselves).

Accommodation

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?

Safe residential area. Condition what I’d expect for student housing and a place that does require a despot. Overpriced weekly rent. Nice location - close to uni and shops and within local community.

Uni Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

Very good but uni is constantly expanding student wise so we need a bigger library ASAP!

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Yes, for sure.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

Amazing. So friendly and provide great opportunities for newbies and competitive members.

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Tried to access well-being. Was told to come back another day as queue was too big. I emailed in to organise a one to one but was told I had to come by to a drop in session first (not discrete idea since you wait in a big queue in a horribly tiny area so tv everyone else ...)
