The tutorial/seminars need improvement as mostly they are taken by phd students. They mostly just read out stuff from the slides. In lectures at times same thing happens. I came to UK to get practical education, but it doesn't happen mostly. There are no real loge examples, no references to industry, no extra activities. They professors mostly are concerned with text book teaching and completing the course. If they could do additional activities, they couldn't just read from slides, use more examples from real world out there, relate the concepts with actual world, it would be able to help us better understand. The seminars need a lot of improvement. They cant just ask phd students to teach them. I am disappointed as an international student, and I think it’s the same all over UK. The concept of 1 year masters is appealing but its not right for most students. You need 1 semester to adjust, and there are just 2 in total. You don’t get much time to explore. I do not recommend a 1 year masters for international students.

I am doing a masters course, and i expect to get a job after it but no one talks about it. The professors don’t mention it even. If they could just talk in 1 lecture about what the course will give me , how do i inculcate what i learn in a job, what careers i can explore. It would be great. The tutorials are not helpful, using Phd students who do it just for the sake of doing it. They know their stuff but they are great at teaching.

The professors and the facilities of the university are top notch. The buses in order to get to uni are awful, the schedules are always wrong and they are not that frequent

That is a good mix between online (recorded lectures) and presencial classes. Very well taught and organised. There isn’t one single bad experience that i have to share in this matter.
