I genuinely just have good memories of this university, one of them being Darby day

During my undergrand lectures' content felt a bit limited, but during my postgrad I understood that those were the basics of the subject I'm studying. I love the lectures, but sometimes I feel like we don't always get to put info in practice

Colchester is a very old city, however it's not too expensive, has great transport and loads of part-time work opportunities in retail shops, coffee shops or pubs/bars/restaurants. I don't think it's great for graduate employment opportunities, as most people just move to London for that, but the university offers a lot of opportunities to work after graduating

North Towers have a lot of people in a flat, but it's a very good value for money and you also get to meet loads of people. On the other hand, I think Houses is the best accommodation on campus.

It has good facilities and there is a lot of support, but the campus look could definitely be better.

Most lecturers are great, but some teachers are not. And they could certainly improve the tutor contact time. There is no separate building to house the Faculty of Social Sciences, which is an unfortunate.

It is extraordinarily difficult to find decent part-time work opportunities off campus
