Studying at NCH has aided enormously in my personal development and furthering my entrepreneurial skills as well as academic ability. I have met some of the best people I know here.
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
Good library access and provision to online materials, lecture rooms are well maintained and there are numerous comfortable and cosy rooms for seminars and 1-1 tutorials. JCR and Study room recently renovated
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
Feedback is delivered promptly and if further explanation is needed, lecturers are responsive both for meetings and for further clarification via email. Wellbeing support is exceptional; NCH is truly able to look out for every student as an individual.
Students' union
What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?
The student union is very involved and reachable by virtue of being a small university. Hard working and with bags of initiative, represent student body well and organise a variety of enjoyable events for students, as well as collaborating with and supporting societies
Local life
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
London offers the widest host of activities , there truly is something for everyone.
Societies and Sports
How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?
There is ample opportunity to show initiative and to really get involved with the operational and organisation aspect of societies. The student body is small, so societies depend and flourish with student initiative.
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
Most: plenty of individual attention and the ability to ask questions and discuss no matter what the format of the teaching session is. 1-1 tutorials, seminars and lectures are all very engaging
Least: Nothing in particular
