Great volume of dialogue between staff and students, opprtunity for a lot of practical experience, very much intouch with what's needed in the job market.

Cheap rent, usually 1/3 or 1/2 what you would end up paying in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Lots of problematic characters though, uneducatated types who like causing trouble or seeking attention by being loud and obnoxious.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
On campus so it's a great choice for first years to settle in. Ok safety as main doors require a key. Ground and First floor is for males. Second and Third floor is for females and also require an additional key to go through. Flat rooms require keys, however can be left unlocked as they may not shut properly under draft conditions. Intro video showed using ID card for unlock/locking of flat rooms however only a physical key can be used. Room view was a grey miserable court yard which a lot of people also have, around half, which doesn't feel like you have room privacy, other people would get an outer view of the complex which is signifcantly nicer. Allegedly a model reconstruction of a Swedish Prison so umm... Overall, definately not worth the £90 per week I paid for, much cheaper available in private accomodation and you get a lot more, including privacy! everything else was highly maintained, never had wifi issues and cleaners were regular to help maintain the property sanitation.
