I would recommend anyone thinking about university to stay in halls in your first year! It really made my experience all the worth while. I am really enjoyinh my university experience. I loved my accomdation and flat mates at endcliffe and we all decided to still live together in second year and love living in our house with my friends. I enjoy my course although i do not feel i get much support from lecturers. The uni life is much better than the exmas, deadlines and lectures. But they are important so make sure you pick a course that you will be happy to study in depth for the next 3 years, as in my first year i made good friends with someone but they dropped out i feel this made her unconfident towards university and education.

The best thing is that it feels as though the uni is very concerned with creating a positive atmosphere, responding to queries, organising events, and so on. I suppose the worst aspect is adapting to a new assessment and learning style, which could probably be helped by the uni to some degree

Tutors are in a lot of contact which is great, and facilities like fieldtrips are well organised. Teaching quality varies.

Super responsive to any concerns, feels very safe and in a great area, rooms are mostly self selected which is also nice. Most rooms are exactly the same which feels nice but the price is quite costly.
