The student accomadation is good. However with a lot of students living in the same place things often get broken and I have found it hard to get them fixed. In endcliffe village which is busier and more fun than ranmoore the lawrence field flats heating and toilet do not work. Which i think is bad as we have paid a lot of money on rent! Also the campus' are not as convinient as others such as opal the city campus. Overall i am really enjoying sheffield and think the people are the university are super friendly. I am not keen on the weather. I have met a ton of people. The staff and teachers are all very understanding and friendly and i think this increases the positive frame of mind to education and working. I would reccomend the university of sheffield to anyone wanting a good degree, with good work ethic and toincrease your social skills because everyone is really friendly.

Sheffield is a beautiful city with something dor everyone, from the Peak District to the music scene and industrial past. My favourite part about the University is the Student's Union, it is a great place to be in general, hosts lots of events throughout the year and allows students to get involved in campaigns. DDSS are a fantastic support service and have helped me a lot throughout my time at Uni. The campus is great with lots of places to study (although it can get very busy in the libraries so some more study spaces could prove useful).

The Geography BSc course at Sheffield is engaging and exciting. There are so many great modules to chose from that it made it hard to pick which ones to take! The teaching is to a good standard and most lecturers are keen to help where they can. The support staff in the department are also incredible.
