Leeds is full of things to do, inside and outside the university. There are so many societies to get involved with and the city itself is great to explore. The nightlife is really fun and vibrant and there is really something for everyone to enjoy. A challenging aspect for me is that my course is quite heavy on private study, so you have to be able to self motivate. However, that varies for each course as they all have different numbers of contact hours.

The majority of my modules are all taught in person, they have weekly lectures and weekly or fortnightly seminars. To get in depth understanding of what is being taught it requires quite a lot of private study which can be difficult but it is worth it to read around assessment topics, and generally can be very interesting. All the lecturers and teachers are easy to reach via email, so if you need help with anything or extra time to go over something they will be there for that. You have one on one meetings with your personal tutors throughout the year which can be helpful.

Leodis was great to live in, it was nice to be in flats rather than halls. There was a nice mix of people there and it was sociable but not overwhelmingly so. The walk up to campus is a bit of a killer because it's up a hill but it's got a nice location, very close to campus but still a bit removed.
