Good despite being mostly online all year. My courses have all been interesting, student support has been great in my experience. Some things have been tricky due to COVID but everyone has tried their best to keep us engaged.

Never had a bad experience with student support services and in general staff and lecturers have always been friendly and helpful. The union seems to be slightly worse managed recently with less on and much higher prices but still a good union and in general student life is good. The uni is in a good location in Dundee but dundee itself is pretty boring, at least compared to edinburgh/glasgow. University library is 10/10. A very very good facility. The sports facilites are also very good although quite expensive for memberships etc.

My course is very enjoyable and most of the lecturers are fantastic. The content is great although I do feel aspects of the human geography side were badly taught / felt completely made up to be honest, but I suppose that may just be my personal preference as I enjoy physical geography and environmental science much more than human geography. There has been many field trip oppertunities so far and a whole module dedicated to understanding how our content is applied in the real world with a large fieldwork oppertunity. More workplacement oppertunities would be good as I am yet to hear of anything like that yet but I suppose that could come later down the line. Facilities are great (many computer labs for GIS or data analysis tasks, an environmental science lab for laboratory work, dedicated lecture rooms, and many field trip oppertunities. Overall a very good course with lovely lecturers and what seems to be a well-run department/school.

Very very good accomodation. Sharing with 6 is a really good number and the living room/kitchen area is perfectly suited for it. I would say just as nice as Heathfield or Belmont and even better than Seabraes or Tower. Only downside is the distance from campus but I personally enjoyed the walk and really like the area of West end that it is in - much quieter and greener than the on-campus accomodation. Value for money was very good in the sense that the flat was as good quality if not better than others on campus and much cheaper (because of the distance) but still an expensive accomodation. Only downside was getting stuck with very boring flatmates that never left their rooms to chat but I suppose that isn't totally the university's fault.
