The geography society has had very little in the way of helping meet people on the course, most of the socials have been great for pre-existing friend groups but very poor for meeting new people. The campus is great, nice architecture and a very welcoming feel to it

I have met my tutor once during uni so far, I also haven't really had any academics that I see often enough to have any connection with. To the point that I don't feel comfortable going to anyone for support or help

Nice location on the edge of campus and quality of housing. However, all student housing is just far too expensive, my rent is higher than my maintenance loan so have to rely on getting money from parents as I cannot find a job that pays enough (otherwise I'd have to get a higher number of hours which would damage my ability to do uni work). The WiFi effectively turns off and on again every ten minutes or so which makes it difficult to download academic papers or rewatch lectures online.
