Hope is a great place to study as it is a smaller campus then other universities so lectures and tutors have a closer bond with students and can offer more support if needed. The views from some of the buildings are amazing there is a lot of greenery around. The library facilities are great as the staff are always ready to help and support students with whatever they may need and are very friendly and has some great study spaces too. The student support team are also very good and friendly and will support you whatever your needs are and will do their best to help you be the best you can be. Some things I think can be improved are more study spaces outside the library and more places for students to just hang out with friends. Overall, it is a great university!

I really enjoy my courses the lectures and tutors are amazing and they are very helpful and friendly and will always make time for their students when needed. I really enjoy the course content as they are all very interesting and very useful to learn and understand. I think the contact hours are perfect and they are very well structured and I like that it is in-person teaching as it is easier to understand what is going on and you can ask the tutors questions about content or work if needed and they will answer them for you. I like that it is a mixture of learning in the classrooms and going out into the community and learn that way for example, going to a museum or art gallery to get a better understanding of what we are getting taught and it helps with our assignments and essays. Lectures are also easily accessible as you can email them when you need to and they will answer as quick as possible and they let you know when their office hours are so if you need to speak to them face to face you can and their door is always open to students which is very helpful when you are struggling with something and they are very helpful.

Wesley hall is an ensuite accommodation and I quite enjoy it as I have met two of my friends in my flat and they are great and without living in halls I would have never met them. The halls are also very safe as there are 24 hour security on campus and you can call them anytime if you feel unsafe for whatever reason and they respond very quickly and it is safe because you need your pass to get in and unless you live in that specific hall then even if you have a pass for another hall you can not get into to any hall just the one you have been allocated to which makes me feel a lot more comfortable and safe while in halls. I think it is good value for money because you get an ensuite so it's a lot more private and you don't have to worry about anyone else being in there and the rooms are the right size not too big but not too small which I like and there are plenty of storage to put you belongings such as draws, wardrobe and shelves and even under bed storage. The halls can be loud sometimes with music but most of the time it is quite calm and quiet which is good if you need a lot of calm to be able to do some work in your room. The kitchens are also a good size and have quite a bit of storage for everyone to share equally as there are only 5 people per flat which is also good if you do not like a lot of people in one space.

I really enjoyed the first two years, but third has been tough. My advice would be to get into the habit of working a little bit every day. Don’t let your work build up too much, study away from facebook and join a club or society or team to meet new people
