Whenever I asked for support I always got it (e.g. Centre of Academic Writing), although not all sessions were as high quality as I expected them to be. Vast majority of teacher were nice, friendly and approachable, some were even greater and extremely knowledgeable, I can only name a couple in 2 years that I did not like and felt that we were better off without them. This could be fixed if teachers were picked off more on their passion rather than supposed knowledge, so we don't get people teaching us who don't want to be there themselves. I love the high amount of students from all over the world, makes it such a good place to study if you wish to be exposed to different cultures and points of view. I wish William Morris, the building for the faculty of business and law, would be more advanced, like the engineering building is. I found this especially disappointing as a digital marketing student who not only was not offered any supporting gadgets during the course, but also is not able to easily make use of the "digital" in his "digital marketing" degree inside his own building. On this note, the amount of lecturers who were technologically illiterate was outstanding, again, especially since they are teaching DIGITAL marketing modules! So I really think they should be taught themselves how to interact with the tools they will be using to teach us before they come into class. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I am still glad I came to Coventry to study. It has slowly made me a better person, and more knowledgeable of course, and that was the end goal of coming here, so I consider myself satisfied.

+ lots of students from all across the world + lots of fairly decent places to eat nearby, in city centre + grocery shopping is fairly cheap, especially at lidl + many accommodations close to uni, with decent prices - some may find it has too few pubs and not enough things to do when going out - a popular accommodation agency, has had horrendous customer service, I'd suggest to try something else

The best aspects have been meeting new people, overall great teachers and the facilities were always very welcoming. The worst aspects of my uni experience, I believe are more related to my faculty where issues take a long time to get resolved and there's less support in comparison with other faculties, especially related to coursework and dissertation.

I started as an on-campus student and became fully online due to COVID-19. I have experienced teachers giving more support to on-campus students rather than online, although I also understand that sometimes online students are not engaged as much with the lecture/seminar. To me, online teaching allowed me to be more efficient with my time and get overall better results versus on-campus. Most of the teachers have been incredible, but others have been less willing to provide support - especially during extension or deferral time periods.

Although I have loved Coventry University facilities, Coventry is a very dangerous city to live in and I have never felt 100% secure walking around to go either to uni or to my part-time job. I have always lived near the center, to be within walking distance from my university building and unfortunately, I have had my house robbed where a lot of my personal items were stolen... It was one of the worst experiences during the course of these 4-years where I felt unsafe and my family back home was also concerned about my well-being.
