I love the community that Coventry has and how welcome it made me feel.

The teaching is really nice

Whenever I asked for support I always got it (e.g. Centre of Academic Writing), although not all sessions were as high quality as I expected them to be. Vast majority of teacher were nice, friendly and approachable, some were even greater and extremely knowledgeable, I can only name a couple in 2 years that I did not like and felt that we were better off without them. This could be fixed if teachers were picked off more on their passion rather than supposed knowledge, so we don't get people teaching us who don't want to be there themselves. I love the high amount of students from all over the world, makes it such a good place to study if you wish to be exposed to different cultures and points of view. I wish William Morris, the building for the faculty of business and law, would be more advanced, like the engineering building is. I found this especially disappointing as a digital marketing student who not only was not offered any supporting gadgets during the course, but also is not able to easily make use of the "digital" in his "digital marketing" degree inside his own building. On this note, the amount of lecturers who were technologically illiterate was outstanding, again, especially since they are teaching DIGITAL marketing modules! So I really think they should be taught themselves how to interact with the tools they will be using to teach us before they come into class. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I am still glad I came to Coventry to study. It has slowly made me a better person, and more knowledgeable of course, and that was the end goal of coming here, so I consider myself satisfied.

+ lots of students from all across the world + lots of fairly decent places to eat nearby, in city centre + grocery shopping is fairly cheap, especially at lidl + many accommodations close to uni, with decent prices - some may find it has too few pubs and not enough things to do when going out - a popular accommodation agency, has had horrendous customer service, I'd suggest to try something else
