Best: i enjoy my course as lectures are engaging and interesting I like the independence it gives me Lots of cafes to study with student discount Great library with lots of books and computers to use satellite as different areas with different noise levels Really good gym on site Worst: Found it hard to find my group of friends Could have some healthier food options in the canteen Communal areas in accommodation need better cleaning as always dirty as well as the uni laundrette

Best: I enjoy in person lectures as i find it hard to concentrate online in my room, especially as i may not see may people on days I don’t have lectures so enjoy having in person lectures. Improvements: Some modules could have more contract hours as some difficult lecturers felt abit rushed and we needed some revision time for the exam Lecturers and PATs need to improve speed at replying to emails, as some never reply.

Room is big enough Has good dampener of furniture to store belongings Glad food is included as I don’t have to spend extra time shopping and cooking so can spend more time in library. Food is nice but needs healthier options (one dinner was lasagne with chips and garlic bread - where is the veg!!) , and portion sizes are often very small. I originally wanted quiet accommodation, but they didn’t open Gladstone this year so was put on top floor of Astbury as it would be a ‘quite floor’ which it isn’t as people come back at 4 in the morning really loud and the floor below plays really loud music and shouts/ screams at midnight.

Best: the support that is offered through mental health, academic and opportunities for work and volunteering. Worst: N/A

Best: The information and access to relevant websites and services such as BDA is great. The teachers offer great support and help. The ratio of independent learning to in person course hours is perfect Worst: Lecturers can just read off PowerPoints at times which can make it not be very engaging. The tutor doesn't reach out very often also.

I would highly recommend it. It's a 10 minute walk to the main campus and a 10 minute walk into town. The workers provided free items or food occasionally and were very friendly. Least: Crossing roads nearby can be difficult but here is a subway to go under roundabout into town which is helpful
