I think Portsmouth uni is a good uni, especially the Dental Academy. The facilities there are brilliant and there is a lot of support from staff. You're pretty much guarenteed a job when you graduate and there is again a lot of support with this too.

It is overall a very good place to study but the estate is a little tired and needs updating in several areas. The classroom rarely have provisions to be able to charge my laptop as I use it. Staff are great, hard-working and committed. The library services are outstanding.

All round great for PhD students overall.
