Vacuum cleaners and a mop and bucket are provided so that throughout the week the flat can stay fairly clean. However that is dependant on the residents. From viewing the halls online and in person, there exists a prison like feel that multiple people have described. This is likely due to the walls having the brick pattern exposed. It takes away from a homely environment but after some time you learn to ignore it. The location is a huge advantage. With less than a 10 minute walk to the University and surrounded by stores and th House of Fraser, going shopping or doing other leisurely activities is easy.
