Lancaster university is a wonderful place for campus life. Great teachers, advanced education methods, especially perfect atmosphere for international students. Muiltcultural students, good choice for studying abroad.

Love the buidings - especially the management school with its comfy lecture halls and study areas. The library is also great though a bit busy. Good bus system that takes you straight to the train station. Good few shops though which there was a big proper supermarket. University is always under construction in some way which contributes noise pollution and closed off pathways. I'd love more takeaway options. Some rooms are a bit too small for lectures that we end up crowded. The bus services are also too crowded at time where buses are literally full and you have to wait

Course hours are good - have plenty personal study time which is my personal choice. However, seminars are a bit rough with lack of attendance - which i think is the format where the teacher is calling on people and it feels very formalised. I've had very good semianrs in the past year in social work where it was very informal, you contribute to the conversation if you have something to add (but it's not needed), the tutor runs the talk with the inclusion of interesting videos that i think help understanding - funny enough the attendance for the seminar wsa really good.

Lived in a shared flat year 1 - self contained studio year 2. Both were good, though I think a lot is dependent on roomates yet still hated sharing a kitchen. Self containted studio was great and spacious, while the lack of proper oven was annoying - It was still good. The bathroom is a bit grim as its a watershed practically so it gets all over the floor. I was missing a washing basin when i came in and I think it would be a good idea if they provided you a food catcher on the drain instead of complaining about food clockage. It only costs like a fiver and it would solve all their blockage issues. Internet's been mostly good expect the few times it's died for like an hour but it is always notifed on the website. Value for money's rough but it always is :( I've always felt safe with the number of locks and scans to get into the buidling and rooms but there was a recent bike shed break in close by which was a bit of a wake up call.
