University experience has been brilliant so far. Its not a massive university campus unlike others but has a modern feel to it....

Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

University experience has been brilliant so far. Its not a massive university campus unlike others but has a modern feel to it. The student union is a great place to hang out with friends and run events on a daily basis. The night life is good especially North Hill students bars. The houses that students can rent are of good quality and its cheap to live near uni eg. a 10 min walk about £90 a week inc bills is a lot cheaper than other cities in the country!

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

Like - that its flexible and you can tailor it to your own learning style. The course is mainly taught online with podcasts and readings to complete each week and is 100% coursework based so no exams! The symposium events are really interesting with guest speakers talking about their current research field too within the world of criminology. Dislike - that the contact hours are so little with only 3 symposium events a year so a total of 6 days in university learning, it takes abit of getting used to but is great for those who live further away and have other commitments such as family/work etc to be able to gain a masters qualification around this.

A great choice of over 120 clubs and socities
