Everything is so convenient and close together, whilst some buildings are dated the newer buildings are beautiful and fun to explore. Our Student Union gets involved and it is clear Brighton does care about its students. Even offering a pantry with food, and other necessities for students who may need extra support.

We began our course during lockdown, but the transition into lectures and in person learning was seamless. Most lecturers are great with communication and emails, and they are truly passionate about their subject.

Very diverse, easy to find friends and people you belong with. Brighton is expensive especially when considering rent and bills. But public transport is quick and efficient.

The best parts of this university is the easiness to fit in. I have met people all over the country and everyone has been so welcoming that it's made Brighton a new home for me. The support from the staff is amazing, not only the lecturers themselves, but the overall staff of the accommodation, especially the security staff. The security staff have had a big impact on my happiness they really make themselves prominent figures that have made me feel extremely safe in a new environment. My course itself has been excellent. Although intense at times I feel supported and excited when attending my lectures and seminars. The staff definitely try their best to prepare and support you in the run up to completing assessments. The only part at this University I would suggest to improve is the lifts in Goldstone, which is my accommodation. As I am based on the 12th floor, having one lift available whilst the other one has been broken for the last month makes it extremely difficult. Often waiting long amounts of time and having to miss lifts as they are constantly full. this is more of an inconvenience then a complaint as it isn't the Universities fault itself.

I am extremely happy with the content of my course so far. The lecturers have been enthusiastic and so far it has been a great learning environment. As a first year student I am still not sure what the future holds ahead for me, although the lecturers have made it clear there is an abundance of opportunities. I know currently that the prospect of work placements and internships is very competitive and difficult to get into, so therefore this does worry me. The only improvements I could suggest is that our personal academic tutors would be more involved, I have had little contact with my personal academic tutor. The contact I have had from my PAT was disappointing and I feel unsupportive. Overall though I have been extremely happy with my course and my lecturers so far and feel supported in my environment.

My accommodation is modern and has a great cleanliness feel to it. the security in the accommodation is great and have helped countless times with me and my flatmates. My room overall is great another are only mild inconveniences I have. for example, there is huge amounts of wind that comes from my bathroom. I can often hear a lot of noise despite the heavy doors blocking out most the noise. I have problems with my shower sometimes as it fluctuates between hot and cold water. The cleaners have missed multiple days, which is only a minor complaint, however the fee is included in our bills so I feel it is still important. The location is great. I am right next to all my lecture and seminars, it is only a 2 minute walk. There is an Aldi less then a 5 minute walk away and a Sainsbury's only a 7 minute walk away making shopping easily accessible. there are buses that stop right outside of my accommodation that go straight into the centre of Brighton within less than 20 minutes. Making nightlife and social life amazing. It also allows people with courses on different campuses easy access to travel for cheap amounts.
