Best - the area is clean, safe and very nicely well kept, lovely buildings. There’s lots of facilities and events going on (clubs, societies etc.). The library has a good selection of books, the teachers are engaging and seem like (in my course anyways) they enjoy their subject. Worst - some of the facilities are rather expensive

Best - The lecturers are all friendly and engaging, the subjects for the most part are very interesting and all seem to be relevant (especially to my future career goals). The lecture rooms themselves are nice too. The lecturers also are good at pointing you in the right direction in terms of resources, reading material etc. Worst - Sometimes when receiving feedback I feel it is not detailed/long enough - i understand lecturers have to mark and give feedback to tens of students work weekly however I would really like some more in depth critiques to help me improve my work.

Rooms are okay, but the carpets aren’t the cleanest even when just moving in. The shower sprays too far over the base of the shower, meaning if you open the shower curtain an inch water gets everywhere. As for safety I have had multiple negative experiences with some young men who were also living on campus, and serious allegations were made against them (not only just by me) that were not taken seriously. No safety measures are in place to keep this types of people from interacting with others in the common room, general facilities etc. I also made multiple noise complaints against the person living next to me and very little action was taken, all I was told to do was to call security next time it happens. However no action was taken about the many instances that had already occurred, nor did they properly speak to my flat mate about how they were breaking the rooms contract rules and disturbing the peace. This meant that it happened again.

I like the campus and the location, and I’ve made some amazing friends. WiFi is not the best in some places. John Galsworthy building is constantly boiling. The lifts are very slow, and the system isn’t the best. Drinks are very expensive.

Can be very interesting Sometimes it just feels like we’re reading the PowerPoint for 3 hours which gets boring and I’m not learning anything
