I love the community of the uni. It’s a lot smaller than others in both amount of students and physical size so you can’t get lost on campus and you really feel a sense of community. I also really love how inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly the university is and that was a big reason why I chose it.

For this year we have to do work experience placements and all the tutors and lecturers are very supportive and helpful in giving us information on where to find placements.

It is right in the centre of York so it is near everything you need and only 10 minutes walk from the university. The rooms are lovely and the kitchens are a good size. Being in an apartment building is annoying though when the people above you are really noisy. Also the lifts broke a lot.
