I enjoy the sense of community the university brings, it’s never too far to get to anywhere and I like the library being 24/7 and the free uni bus service. I do wish there were more bus stops for the service and also having a 11-1 and 4-6 on the same day with nothing in between feels a little annoying but it does force me to do more work so maybe it’s a good thing. I think maybe certain lecturers could get more involved with the modules but that’s not a uni thing that’s just a very few minority of lecturers. I also don’t like the new timetable service they’ve introduced, it’s so ugly (I’m so sorry) but they need to change it back. U do genuinely really enjoy being at this uni though.

It’s really good that the course is BPS accredited, it definitely opens a lot more pathways and opportunities. I do wish the content in some of the modules were a bit more interesting though and that coursework and exams could be explained further and in more detail, especially not leaving it until a week before it’s due. People are far more engaged in the in person lectures than online workshops. Having about 4 hours a week of each module feels like a good balance but sometimes it feels like too much information being crammed in that time. Lecturers are always easy to reach with office hours and notice boards and emails

I had such a good room in my first year halls, I had a view of the park and so much storage and space. It was one of the more expensive halls but I think it was definitely worth it. There were communal areas for the whole building with pool tables and sofas and TVs and a sky lounge and a little courtyard where events would take place. They did pet therapy and even brought reindeers when it was Christmas time. I was in B block on floor 6, with a large desk, large wardrobe, 3/4 double bed, en-suite bathroom, lots of shelf space with plug and usb sockets, and two pinboards. The kitchen was so spacious with a microwave, oven, 2 cupboards and a cutlery drawer per person, one full size fridge and one full size freezer. There were also 2 sofas, a big tv and a pin board in that shared space. I shared with 4 other people. The one thing I hated however was the constant fire alarm checks but I know that’s health and safety so

The best aspects are the feeling of independence and the events held in and around Portsmouth for students, the union is also a good aspect. The bad aspects of studying can sometimes be the library space for study, and the stationary found in the library.

Blended learning is a good idea however I find it makes me lazy, i don't focus as much as i would in a face-to-face lecture.
