I love the Aberdeen campus! It's a beautiful historical campus and, personally, I find the facilities to be very good. There's lots of study spaces (including the very modern library) and there's lots of different shops/bakeries/cafes for food and drink for when you're there all day. It is in an easy area to walk to from the centre of town (and has reasonably good bus travel nearby). I am an able-bodied person so I find navigating campus very easy, but I know there areas (including older buildings) that are difficult to enter and/or navigate for wheelchair users. Also, some of the classrooms in older buildings aren't clearly labeled, sometimes making things difficult to find until you get your bearings. Overall, things are pretty good!

Most course content is good. Trigger warnings are given for controversial literature which makes things more accessible. However, some of the set reading is unnecessarily expensive (for example, having to buy a large book for one part of the text, ie. one week of learning) which makes things difficult for people with financial worries. I'm not sure how many opportunities in terms of work placements or internships will come from this course, but the uni's career support services are good.

The campus feels genuinely like home. It motivates me to study and strive for more. But AUSA should do more to help student activities. They are very disconnected from students. And although they get paid for their work, they shift a massive amount of admin to student committees. They are also supposed to be on top of all requirements for sports clubs, etc., yet I have experienced real difficulties because they didn't stand up for our club in a dispute.

I love the content and the wide ranging topics on my course. The buildings could do with a renovation on the inside. Especially Taylor building and New Kings. We need more study spaces across campus (and not just in the libraries), where one could sit in a comfortable, warm place and read/prepare between classes. We also need more places where you can charge laptops and phones. Nowadays, almost everyone is taking digital notes.
