Really nice campus with lots of plants and flowers. Professors are all really helpful. Would be better if there were more societies

Staff are incredible. The uni leans into their unique personalities and teaching styles very well and it pays off in how creative freedom makes us more confident in our English course. Student support services are amazing, and have been a huge help for people like me. The care leavers branch of student support is brilliant, having someone who helps me with all the difficulties of being an adult after leaving foster care launched me out into the adult world's nonsense. The worst part is hard to really say because it's still very good for it's kind. But the accomodation facilities can be quite easy to break, such as the ovens and chairs. Even then, the spaces for the most expensive accomodations are spacious ensuites with a proper working environment; as someone who gets extra money from the council, it is amazing to know all the best rooms are still below the benefits rate used to calculate whether university rent is paid for by the council. The only real thing I can say that is 100% bad is that the whole campus is built like a maze. Because of how I process information, finding new rooms on the map is often no help. Even with signposting, it's not precise enough to help me get around more than just a handful of regular classrooms.

English students don't need too much to go off of in terms of resources. A bit of Google scholar and a bit of Oxford University Press content and we're good to go. But our lecturers in English are amazing. Very kind and understanding. Very open to discussion, and one has the innate talent of turning my sarcastic humour into valid talking points. We learn a range of academic, rhetorical, and narrative styles through our emphasis on preparation, discussion and revision, over ancient-style textbook learning. They give amazing tips and support for when we're stuck, and the way we're taught is both effective and limits our workload. Especially with workload, our assignments are a test of skill, not of endurance, and there is creative freedom as there should be.

Same as what I said earlier. Extremely cheap for the deal you get, enough for the most expensive residences to be written off by the city council when it comes to care leaver support. The only problem is that a lot of facilities can be quite fragile, and even then, the trick is to just be more careful.
