Even after living here for 2 years, the university campus remains the safest and most attractive area of Uxbridge. From the friendly staff to the lovely groundskeeping, I always enjoy walking through the campus. I particularly love the bakery stands that occur each week during the school year. In terms of improvement, I think providing more opportunities to explore the campus building would be incredibly helpful. Perhaps it was due to having the first year of university away from campus and entirely online, but when I finally made it to campus for the second year (and third), I found myself never having any reason to go into any of the campus building that I didn't have classes or meetings in. It might sound silly, but I know myself (and many of my peers) would benefit from a tour of the campus, especially if that was led by a student or staff member that could provide details such as all the available study places, what times services are open until, and quick tips around navigation through campus (like how in the Lecture Centre all the even-numbered classes are on one side while the odd-numbered are opposite).

Coming from a joint degree, my overall experience with the games design department (both course content and professors) consistently remained better than with creative writing. Not to say that the content or professors in creative writing were lacking, but I found many of the lecturers less approachable or more difficult to contact outside of scheduled lectures. While I have thoroughly enjoyed my entire university experience, my largest takeaways would have to be the events scheduled outside of lectures such as the Global Games Jam or the O8 Summer Project.
