The University of Derby feels like home to me. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology there 2012-2015 and now I am in my second year of a 3-year masters to become a psychotherapist. The lecturers are so supportive, approachable and knowledgeable, I really feel like I am learning from the best of the best! In both my undergrad and the postgrad, I'm studying now I have needed support from student wellbeing. This has always been a positive experience. I have had therapy through them, support plans made, and they recently supported me with an ADHD diagnosis. Aside from studies I found my career through derby uni. I joined a sports club when I did my undergrad and have since gone on to make sports coaching my full-time career. I would not have the confidence and self-esteem that I have now if I hadn't gone to derby uni. I have made friends for life and memories that I will never forget.

BEST - the lecturers endless support, the content of the course, the varied way that we learn. The lecturer's ability to make learning suitable for everyone. The community feel of the course. I could go on and on and on. I made the best decision starting this course! I have nothing bad at all to say about the course. nothing at all!!!

Lots of things going on literally all of the time! Also close network links to other nearby towns and cities. So close to the countryside too if you like to escape city life

This was the closest halls to uni when i stayed there. I loved the rooms, wish there had been a lift as i was on the top floor. Unfortunately there are no closer halls to uni that is the only downside but other than that i loved it
