I have found Brighton a great place to study due to the fantastic student support they have been able to give me when I was struggling with my mental health and my lectures and seminar tutors are very knowledgable, kind, and approachable. On top of that most are practising/participating in the fields in which they teach meaning they are able to give great insight into how what is taught is actually used in the outside world and also up-to-date information and changes happening in the field.

The best aspect of my course is definitely the lectures and seminar tutors. All of them have been nothing but fantastic, in both their teaching and attitude towards the students. The worst part is only valid due to the previous lockdowns and it would've been having no in person contact with them. Though this is no longer an issue

Brighton is a fantastic place for students. It is a very diverse and interesting town with lots of active nightlife and things to do. The public transport network is also amazing so getting around is a breeze. The prices of housing are on the expensive side compared to some other uni towns/cities but in my opinion it is worth it for being in Brighton

What I liked most about my halls was that it was almost a separate little village of just students. I found this was great for meeting new people. The location is a little tricker as it is a little out of the way of the main campuses, that being said there is a free bus service that goes between them and a regular bus that can take you to a big shop or into town.

it’s a lovely chilled back and inclusive environment but sometimes i feel like there’s a slight lack of organisation

the topics are fun and interesting but sometimes i’m unsure what part of the info are necessary to know for the course

it’s looked after, the cleaning services are fair and it feels safe and secure but the communication with maintenance isn’t the best
