The staffs go above and beyond to support students and help them woth thing such as fitting in and home worries not just acedemic worries

I am a mature student at Staffordshire University studying Counselling. I have not been in further education since 1988. It was quite a daunting prospect starting my course, but the tutors and support services ( I'm also registered blind), really helped me to settle in on the course. They have given me the self confidence to believe that I am a valued student and capable of achieving my goal of becoming a Counsellor. IT staff and Library staff that I have met have also been very good and helpful.

Facilities are first class

I have had support, the help I have had has been excellent

I haven't had any contact with the students Union but I am aware of the good work they do.

I have lived in Stoke most of my life, so I like it here

I'm not a member of any

I have really enjoyed my course which is down to the great lecturers

I feel that when I have finished my courses I will have really good job prospects

This doesn't apply to me, as I am a mature student, and I live locally.
