I loved my experience at the University of Cumbria - I was a little unsure if I'd like living in a smaller city but I loved it! All the staff were lovely and studying Graphic Design there has allowed me to gain a job with the university.

Graphic design studio was a great place to study.

Need more publicity because they do a great job!

Nice restaurants, bars, and good shopping

I never joined a club so couldn't say - wish I did get involved more however.

Being a slightly smaller Uni than others I felt I know all of my tutors personal and was able to ask for help when needed.

While there I was able to have two placement, one internship and then a full time time job in the end However I gained the placement without the help of the Uni.

Although I did love living in hall theydo need updated

A great small University in which you can really feel like a person and not just a number although the University management could do be reminded of this from time to time. The teaching staff all really care and the Student's Union do their best given their low funding, lack of student bar and multi-campus nature of University. A real gem for Big Fish Small Pond type people.
